Cultivating An Award Winning Reputation

The LNA Master Landscapers Association Awards are an annual event celebrating and acknowledging exceptional work carried out by the landscape industry. 2016 marked the first year of entry for Green Options, who engaged Emedia Creative to photograph, develop and design their four submissions, showcasing their thriving talent.

THE CHALLENGE

Green Options is a landscape management company with very high standards, proudly setting new benchmarks in service, quality, efficiency and value. Our challenge was to develop a series of award winning submissions that not only encompassed the breadth of their skills in landscape maintenance, but also showcased the high level of standards they pride themselves on.

OUR APPROACH

Through our initial client consultation we uncovered Green Options’ desire to not only gain recognition and win awards, but build a clear and identifiable presence within the industry. It was clear each of these submissions would need of a high calibre to bolster their reputation amongst their peers.
Our goal was to create a set of clean, minimal and professional brochures that would allow the photography to hero. By defining clear objectives based on judging criteria, we photographed each of the submission sites across Sydney.

Choosing a rich soil colour palette enabled the lush ‘green’ in the photographs to pop and appear well maintained. These colour blocks juxtaposed against white space, ensured each spread had both balance and focus on the stunning photography.

Clusters of images were featured across pages to instantly show off the most unique aspects of each space. Smaller, typographic callouts were integrated to pull out key messaging for the judges.

THE RESULTS

With a Gold, Silver and Bronze win for 3 out of 4 entries, the results speak for themselves.

Designed as a unified set, the brochures work harmoniously together to define a strong brand presence for Green Options. Individually they have been clearly tailored to each specific award category, judging criteria and physical site entered.
From consultation and photography to concepting, design and print, these brochures have helped cultivate an award winning reputation for Green Options.
